Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed that Thierry Henry will not take part in his side's Carling Cup final against Chelsea next week. The French boss wants to stick with the second-string team that played the whole tournament's campaign. "That competition is a bit special for me so I will keep it special to the end," Wenger was quoted as saying by Sky Sports Network on Sunday. "Thierry will not be involved as it would not be fair to play the big players. They must have contributed at least one game. I will play the players who have made the whole campaign." Arsenal youngsters made a huge impression and helped Gunners eliminate high-profile teams such as Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. But Wenger is ready to deploy Henry in case Arsenal suffer an injury crisis. "I say today he won't play next Sunday, but if we have three injuries he will play. You can never say never in our job. But if everybody is available, he will not play."
