Raul Tamudo scored a goal and made another as Espanyol crushed city rivals Barcelona 3-1 in the Spanish League. Tamudo swung a neat cross for Luis Garcia who converted home in the 31st minute in Saturday's derby. Substitute striker Javier Saviola put the Spanish and European champions level on the hour mark with a stinging shot from outside the area. Tamudo turned scorer as he headed past goalkeeper Victor Valdez in the 70th minute before Francisco Rufete sealed the victory when he scored on the break. The defeat left Barcelona in second place with 35 points, two behind leaders Sevilla. In Valencia, the hosts romped to a 3-0 victory over Levante to move to third spot. Hugo Viana broke the deadlock six minutes into the second period with a long-range shot before veteran striker Fernando Morientes doubled the lead in the 56th minute. Roberto Ayala put the icing on the cake in the 79th minute when he swept David Villa's free-kick home.
