Inter Milan are reportedly in talks with Real Madrid to sign David Beckham in January, according to Italian media. Beckham's negotiations with the Spanish capital side over a contract extension are believed to be dead and Calcio Italia magazine reported that Real offered the former England captain to Inter. The 32-year-old winger could be a perfect replacement of Luis Figo should the Portuguese's reported move to Ittihad Jeddah came out to be true. Inter Milan also target Real's Malian midfielder Mahamadou Diarra, who has fallen out with coach Fabio Capello, Corriere dello Sport said. Diarra joined Real in the summer from Lyon and made an immediate impact but being caught on camera criticizing the Italian manager left him out of the squad lately.
