At the Old Trafford, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer fired United in front in the 33rd minute but Ibrahima Sonko leveled the score five minutes later. In-form Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo netted twice in the 59th and 77th minutes before Leroy Lita pulled one back in the stoppage time. Elsewhere, Fulham defender Carlos Bocanegra scored late in the second-half to deny Chelsea a precious victory. Liam Rosenior's own goal cancelled out Fulham's opener in the 16th minute through Moritz Volz before Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba put Chelsea ahead two minutes past the hour mark. Fulham's full-back Bocanegra equalized for the visitors six minutes before the final whistle.
