Tottenham striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' said his side are capable of beating Chelsea when they clash on Sunday despite billing the Blues as "a very good team." "Chelsea are very good, they have a good manager in Jose Mourinho and we respect them so much," Mido told FilGoal.com in a phone call from London. "But we still have a chance to win the game, especially with the game staged at White Hart Lane and before our enthusiastic supporters." After ten games in the Premiership, title holders Chelsea are in second place with 25 points, more than double the tally of Tottenham, who lie in 13th place. Mido recalled Tottenham's last game against Chelsea when he was shown a straight red card for elbowing Asier Del Horno in a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge last season. The game was heading towards a stalemate but Chelsea, benefiting from their numerical advantage, earned the three points through a late William Gallas strike. "I saw the replay several times and I can say that there was a physical contact but Del Horno's reaction was exaggerated to get me dismissed," Mido said. The 23-year-old international, who scored only once for Tottenham this season, said he doesn't know whether he or Egypt team mate Hossam Ghaly will be starting against Chelsea or not. "Coach Martin Jol rotates the players and I won't know if I am playing till a few hours before the game," he said.
