Egypt and Tottenham striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' said he wishes to play Premiership champions Chelsea in the final match of the Carling Cup. Mido set up fellow striker Jermaine Defoe in the 115th minute to score the winner on Wednesday as the Spurs edged 1-0 past Southend in the tournament's quarter-finals. "I want Chelsea in the final. They are a great team with a lot of quality," Mido told the London Evening Standard. Tottenham were just the second team to beat Chelsea in the league this season after Middlesbrough and Mido believes his side can repeat the feat. "We have beaten them this season and we are not scared of anyone," The 24-year-old talisman said. Mido admitted that winning the game in the extra-time avoided him the scare of taking part in the shootout. "I was relieved when the goal went in because I was thinking I might have to take a penalty soon," he said. "Thank God we haven't lost the game because in the cup you never know what will happen. A lot of big teams have been beaten by smaller teams."
