Alexandria-Hani Al-Awadi: Ittihad Alexandria board of directors have suspended midfielder Hesham Hanafi due to his absence from training without permission, the Mediterranean club said on Wednesday. Hanafi didn't attend the club's training on Sunday as he refuses the board's decision to give the players their due payments depending on number of appearances. Ittihad vice-president Mohamed Moselhi has also accused the player of trying to influence his teammates to do the same action. "The team's duo Omar Khatab and Aboul-Einain Shehata admitted that Hanafi provoked them to skip training, but we accepted their apology," Moselhi told FilGoal.com. "Hanafi didn't appreciate that we signed him from Harras Al-Hodoud while he was below-par, and once he hit his top form, he began to dictate his conditions," he added.
