Zamalek club-Gaber Aboul-Naga: Zamalek forward Mostafa Gaafar has refused to rejoin the team's training even after coach Manuel Cajuda dropped the sanction on him. The Portuguese boss and his assistant Ahmed Ramzi suspended Gaafar for a month without pay and also handed him a fine for publicly criticizing the coaching staff for omitting him from the squad for the Ismaili match. The decision to ban Gaafar was dropped on Friday and the player was cleared to return to training, but the player refused. "I won't return to practice before receiving the 25% of my contract that was due last season," Gaafar told FilGoal.com on Saturday.
Cajuda "The club also has to drop the fine they imposed on me before I return to training, otherwise I'm not going back," he added. Gaafar also hinted he wanted to be financially rewarded like his fellow forwards Abdul-Halim Ali, Amr Zaki and Gamal Hamza and threatened to file a complaint to the Egyptian FA. Gaafar was the center of a tug-of-war between Ahli and Zamalek, but the latter landed his contract from Baladeyet Mahalla in the summer of 2005.
