Zamalek manager Manuel Cajuda upheld on Wednesday the decision of suspending Tamer Abdul-Hamid and Mostafa Gaafar and relegating them to train with the youth team. The duo was banned by assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi for attacking the coaching staff in press for being benched while Cajuda was on a short vacation out of the country. When he came back, the Portuguese coach backed Ramzi's decision and refused to let them train with the first team. "If the ban was lift, this means we are opening the door for endless protests from players who are not selected in the starting line up," Cajuda told reporters. "The pair had no right to criticize the coaching staff in public just because they were dropped from the squad facing Ismaili." Cajuda said also that Abdul-Hamid and Gaafar are responsible of keeping their form during the upcoming period in case they were called up. Though, he didn't set a date for lifting the ban.
