Zamalek VP slams Ramzi over offensive comments
Published in FilGoal on 28 - 09 - 2006

Zamalek vice president Hazem Fawzi has asked for an inquiry regarding the offensive comments that assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi made against the club's board of directors.
Ramzi told the press after Zamalek's surprise 1-0 victory over Ismaili on Tuesday that the club board shows no support to the technical staff and claimed to be targeted by the administration.
"They choose to continuously attack me through the media," Ramzi told reporters.
Fawzi felt Ramzi was out of order for making such a statement.
"Such irresponsible comments should not come from Zamalek's assistant coach," Fawzi told FilGoal.com. "He (Ramzi) has to be punished."
Meanwhile, Manuel Cajuda explained his reasons for leaving forward Gamal Hamza out of Zamalek's squad for Ismaili's game.
The Portuguese manager claimed Hamza was late to catch the bus taking the players to Ismailia.
Hamza was forced to catch up with the team in his own car, but Cajuda refused to allow him to join his teammates and sent him back to Cairo.
