Zamalek have lifted the ban on striker Mostafa Gaafar and allowed him to rejoin the team's training sessions, the Cairo club said. Club secretary general Alaa Mekled told FilGoal.com that the decision was taken by the coaching staff who initially suspended the player. Mekled also denied that the administration refused to let Gaafar link up with his teammates before paying a fine of EGP 50.000. The 25-year-old striker has been banned after Zamalek's 1-0 victory over Ismaili as he hit out at head coach Manuel Cajuda because he dropped him from the match squad. Gaafar joined Zamalek from Baladeya in 2005 and scored nine goals last season but lost his starting spot this season in favor of international forward Amr Zaki, signed from Lokomotiv Moscow in the summer.
