Al-Saqqa to miss Burundi game

Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa is confirmed out of Egypt's game against Burundi in the African Cup qualifiers on Saturday due to injury, the Konyaspor defender said.
"I will not take part in the match because I suffer pain in my abdomen muscles," Al-Saqqa told FilGoal.com.
Egypt will play their first competitive game since winning the African Cup in February on home soil when they take on Burundi in Group B opener.
Al-Saqqa was under fire after he scored an own goal in Egypt's 2-0 friendly defeat to Uruguay in Alexandria.
But manager Hassan Shehata gave the former Mansoura defender a vote of confidence.
"Al-Saqqa is an important first-team member, Scoring an own goal does not mean he is a bad player," Shehata said.
The group also includes Botswana and Mauritania.
