Brazil striker Ronaldo underwent medical examinations after complaining of dizziness, but tests have shown nothing was wrong with the player, the Brazil Football Confederation (CBF) said. "Ronaldo complained of feeling dizzy on Wednesday, June 14, and submitted to a medical check-up and additional examinations," the CBF said in a statement on its official website on Thursday. "No abnormality was found. Ronaldo is, therefore, in normal condition for training," the statement added. The 29-year-old, who was taken out in the 69th minute and replaced by Robinho during Brazil's 1-0 win over Croatia on Tuesday, has already rejoined his team and will continue training. The incident is reminiscent of an episode in 1998 where Ronaldo produced a similar stunned performance at Brazil's World Cup final against France. It was later revealed that the Brazil star had taken ill prior to the match, but the conditions were never fully revealed. In spite of Ronaldo's dismal performance on Tuesday, coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has said he intended to play the forward in Brazil's next game against Australia on Sunday.
