AC Milan have insisted that their Ukrainian striker Andrei Shevchenko is not for sale, Football Italia magazine reported on Friday. "The situation remains the same Milan won't sell Shevchenko, we will never sell him," Milan general director Ariedo Braida said. Shevchenko has been linked with a move to English champions Chelsea after he admitted considering his future with the Italian giants. Milan owner and former Italy Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said he hopes the 29-year-old striker will remain at the Giuseppe Meazza. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho conceded that Sheva is unlikely to wear the Blues' kit next season, although he would like to acquire his services. "We would like to bring Shevchenko here, but he's a Milan player and he has a long-term contract with them,” he said. "Milan have the power, like we have the power with [Didier] Drogba and my feeling is that they don't want to sell and they will keep him. "I like the player and I would like to have him - but a lot of clubs want Drogba and they can't have him," he added.
