Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said his relationship with star striker Andriy Shevchenko is good although tense rises between them sometimes. "At times we go over the top, but we understand each other," Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Football Italia magazine on Saturday. "He (Shevchenko) knows when I am exaggerating and vice versa, then we always end up joking about it," added Ancelotti, who extended his contract with Milan in March. The duo were reportedly involved in angry exchanges on more than one occasion, spats that supported prediction that the Ukrainian star will head to Premiership Champions Chelsea next season.
Shevchenko But Ancelotti played down the departure reports, stressing that Shevchenko won't leave San Siro. "Sheva has a contract with Milan and, even if every now and then he argues with the Coach, he is happy to stay," the veteran manager said. Shevchenko scored 19 times for Milan this season and played a pivotal role in his side's campaign in the Champions League so far, leading the team to the quarter-finals where they play French Champions Lyon.
