AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti believes a victory over city rivals Inter on Sunday is a must in order to narrow the gap on the Serie A summit. The Rossoneri take on Inter with the intention of reducing the 11 points difference between both teams. "The derby is always the derby, but this time it's different – we need to win to start closing the 11-point gap which separates us from Inter," Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia magazine. Milan started the Serie A with an eight-point deduction due to their part in the match-fixing scandal that rocked Italy; they currently lie in 12th place with seven points. Inter, on the other hand, are enjoying a fine form that saw them top the league along with Palermo on 18 points. Ancelotti said he will emphasize on the opponents' weak points in order to grab the three points. "Inter are a very strong side, but they play an aggressive type of football which might favour us, leaving us spaces which would allow us to create chances." "We will try to take advantage of their weak points, although it won't be easy. This is a great opportunity for us and we hope to do well," the Italian tactician added.
