Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said that he wants top-notch reinforcements in the form of Barcelona stars Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o. The Rossoneri were crowned European champions last week after beating Liverpool 2-1 in Athens, and the coach who grabbed his second personal European trophy with the club hopes to maintain the supremacy. "I think that to remain at the top of European football, this side needs a few additions," Ancelotti told Calcio Italia magazine. "If we are to sign players, then you may as well make it a real world class figure. Ronaldinho and Eto'o fit the bill." The Milan tactician highly rates Cameroonian ace Eto'o, who is largely tipped for a Nou Camp exit at the end of the season. "Right now Eto'o is perhaps the best striker in circulation, but I shall say no more on the matter."
Ibrahimovic Despite Ancelotti's optimistic view, the Catalan side is persistently claiming that they will not sacrifice their lethal strike force. The 47-year-old manager went further by claiming that some of the players at Inter Milan want to join the Rossoneri ranks next year. “Many champions have approached us. They all want us now,” smiled Ancelotti. “That includes one player who is totally above suspicion. If I reveal his name, it'll be chaos…” Italian press went on to conclude that the player Ancelotti meant was none other but Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
