Spain captain Raul said he is confident he can be in top-form for the World Cup in Germany next June, Spanish daily Marca reported on Tuesday. "The knee is feeling better and better all the time," the Real Madrid striker said. "The World Cup starts in June, we have got three friendlies before then and I think I will be in good form." The 28-year-old has been sidelined for almost three months after suffering a partial tear of his cruciate ligament in a Spanish Liga clash against arch-rivals Barcelona in November. "At the moment I feel brilliant and the truth is the knee hasn't given me any problems. I hope I can have a great World Cup."
Raul was injured in November Since his return from injury in mid-February, Raul has struggled to play regularly; he has been used as a substitute to striking trio Ronaldo, Julio Baptista and Robinho. ''I hope to participate a bit more in the final seven games so that I can gain the match fitness I need," Spain were drawn in Group H of the World Cup, which runs from June 9th to July 9th, alongside Ukraine, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.
