Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger vowed to keep the pressure on Juventus at the Stadio Delle Alpi when the two sides play in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. The Premiership side take a 2-0 lead to Italy and Wenger believes that Arsenal can advance to the semis if his players find their flow. "We have to attack and try to win the game," BBC Sport quoted the Frenchman as saying on Tuesday. "We will try to defend well, of course, but we have to fix our targets to play well and try to win. "The players know we have to make sure of the small things: the focus, defense, helping each other out." Captain Thierry Henry and teenage midfielder Cesc Fabregas scored at Highbury last week to cap an outstanding night for Arsenal, who enjoy a much successful European campaign compared to their rickety domestic display.
Thierry Henry But they travel to Turin with Fabregas and Ivorian surprise defender Emmanuel Eboue still doubtful as injury-hit Arsenal miss key defenders such as Sol Campbell, Lauren and Ashley Cole. Henry, though, remains optimistic and said he trusts his young team mates to get the job done. "Football can always reserve you some surprises - and you always have to stay cool and calm," the French international striker said. "Our greatest motivation is that we know that everything is possible if we play as we did in the home game. It was a victory for togetherness, a great example of 11 players becoming a team." Henry, who initially joined Arsenal in 1999 after an unsuccessful spell with Juventus, warned of underestimating the Italian Champions and urged his side to pay them the utmost respect. "Juventus at home are a completely different proposition to the team we played at Highbury and they will do everything to make it as difficult as possible for us. Our players need to know that," he said. "This will be the most difficult game of our Champions League campaign this season and what we have done so far will be irrelevant if we do not reach the semi-finals."
