Alexandria-Hani Al-Awadi: Ittihad coach Talaat Youssef was full of praise for striker Mohamed Farouk who scored a brace in the 3-1 win over Rayon Sports on Sunday. "He (Farouk) put himself back in the spotlight," Youssef told Filgoal.com on Monday. Farouk netted in the 17th and 76th minute while Samuel Kyere scored a goal to give Ittihad a 3-0 over Rayon in the second round of the Confederation Cup in Alexandria. Youssef said the game was a tough one but the team has to concentrate on the Egyptian league. "We had lost the first-leg 1-0 and were playing under pressure," he said. "But we took control of the game from the opening minutes which helped us settle the game in our favor." Ittihad qualified for the third round with a 3-1 aggregate win and will next take on Tunisian giants Esperance.
