FSV Mainz striker Mohamed Zidan will be sidelined for the coming three weeks after picking up a knee injury, the club announced on their official website on Sunday. The Egyptian forward picked up the injury during Mainz's Bundesliga round-27 match against Hertha Berlin, that ended in a 2-2 draw Zidan underwent a mild surgery on Saturday and is expected to stay in a three-week recuperation period. The 24-year-old moved to Mainz on loan from Werder Bremen and netted eight goals for the club. Antonio Silva also picked up a knee-cap injury in the same match.
