Mido on target as Tottenham hold Wigan
Published in FilGoal on 19 - 02 - 2006

Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' scored a goal and dished out an assist to help Tottenham Hotspurs hold Wigan Athletic to a 2-2 draw in the Premiership on Saturday.
Swedish striker Andreas Johansson put Wigan ahead in the 10th minute before Mido put the home side level 13 minutes later with a neat finish.
Johansson restored the lead seven minutes after the hour but Mido fed Jermaine Defoe for the equalizer shortly after.
Tottenham are now in fourth place that qualifies to the UEFA Champions League on 46 points, leading London rivals Arsenal, who comes fifth, by five points.

Mido rues his luck after a missed chance
Wigan, who are enjoying their first Premiership campaign ever, remain eighth on 40 points.
Johansson stunned the enthusiastic crowd at White Hart Lane when he poked home from an inch-perfect Paul Scharner cross.
Mido equalized in the 23rd minute when he connected with Paul Stalteri's low cross to backheal the ball into the far post.
Tottenham were down again in the 67th minute as Johansson arrowed the ball into the back of the net after a give-and-go with Henri Camara.
But the Egyptian striker dished-out a trade mark assist one minute later when he headed the ball into the path of Defoe who chipped the ball past Wigan keeper Mike Pollitt.
