Mancini plays down Toni threat
Published in FilGoal on 07 - 02 - 2006

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has warned his players not to direct their full attention to Fiorentina striker Luca Toni when they face the Tuscan side in the Serie A on Wednesday.
The Nerazzurri will have to reduce the threat caused by Serie A top scorer Toni when they visit fourth-placed Fiorentina in a crucial league clash.
"If the threat of Toni is subdued then Fiorentina lose a lot. But I don't think Fiorentina are just about Toni," Mancini was quoted as saying by Football Italia magazine on Monday.
"The Viola have a lot of very good players like Stefano Fiore, Giampaolo Pazzini and Martin Jorgensen - it will be a very difficult game," he added.

The former Lazio boss said he hopes to produce the same good performance that saw his side beat Fiorentina 1-0 in the first round.
"In our home fixture we played very well against them and created a lot of chances," he said.
"I hope that the side play as well on Wednesday. We will only win if we put in an excellent performance," he added.
Inter made an impressive run of 20 unbeaten matches and they are looking forward to beat Fiorentina on order to keep pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus, who they face next week.
Inter Milan are in second place of Serie A table with 54 points, eight points adrift of first-placed Juventus.
