Italian giants AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti said that they hoped they were drawn to a less powerful club in the UEFA Champions League draw that took place on Friday, but nevertheless insisted that they weren't afraid to play against German champions Bayern Munich. “It's certainly not the draw we would have wanted as there are less tricky sides but it certainly doesn't scare us. It will be a stimulating encounter, in a wonderful stadium and a against a side with a rich record,” Ancelotti was quoted as saying on the official Milan website on Friday. Ancelotti also insisted that the club's history with the German outfit was a clear indication that they could very likely win them again this season. “I told the players that the draw was unfortunate but for the Germans. We have had three positive outcomes against Bayern where we have won and we hope to do the same this year,” he added. Milan defeated Milan twice in the 2002-2003 UEFA Champions League group stage. “The win back in 2002-03 was the first important one for a side that was growing. That evening a great side was born.”
