Ancelotti aware of Bayern threat

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted on Friday that his side's clash against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals will not be easy.
Bayern, who dumped out Spanish giants Real Madrid, were drawn against Milan in the strongest Champions League last-eight encounter.
"Bayern have a great history, they are a physically strong side. They had a bad period in the winter but then knocked out Real Madrid. It is a very balanced draw," Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Calcio Italia magazine.
Ancelotti heaped to the praise of Bayern manager Ottmar Hitzfeld, who was appointed on a temporary basis after the sacking of Felix Magath due to bad results.

"They have a very good Coach and he has proved his qualities in the two-legged match with Real. However, I am glad we didn't draw Roma or Manchester United."
On the other hand, Hitzfeld said he expects an interesting clash while commenting on the advantage of playing the second-leg at home.
'Milan are strong but it could have been worse. They have a lot of good individuals. I expect an interesting encounter."
"As for the game at the Allianz Arena: the crowd can offer an important push as in the last round against Real but at the moment we are just thinking about the first leg."
