FIFA refused an appeal made by Saudi team Ittihad Jeddah to allow Brazilians Pedrinho, Lima and Marcao to play in the Club World Championship (CWC) in Japan. The world football's governing body had deemed the Brazilian trio illegible to play in the CWC as they were registered in the Saudi team's books following the November 11th deadline set by FIFA. FIFA believes the Asian champions have already submitted all documentation supporting their case, yet failed to prove their cause, which denies them a chance to appeal, Saudi media reported on Tuesday. Concerning the suspension of Joseph Desire-Job, FIFA confirmed the Cameroonian will not be available for Ittihad's semi-final clash against Brazilian side Sao Paulo. Job was sent-off in Ittihad's AFC Champions League final against Al-Ain and in turn is suspended for two matches.
