Hull City coasted to a thrashing 4-0 away victory at Cardiff City, with Egypt's Ahmed Elmohamady bagging an assist. A Tom Huddlestone opener was followed by a brace by new signing Nikica Jelavic as Jake Livermore completed the rout. It was Elmohamady though who did most of the work for Livermore, who swept home after the Egypt wing-back had found him. Elmohamady's performances for Hull recently earned him a place in the Egypt squad for the friendly against Bosnia. The vital win moves Hull six points off the bottom three as they lie 11th in the Premier League table.
