Geddo made it five goals in as many games for Hull City with a double in Saturday's 5-2 Championship drubbing of Birmingham. The Egypt forward scored the second and fifth for his team, with compatriot Ahmed Elmohamady providing the assist for the final goal. Geddo's striking partner George Boyd also netted a double, which included another goal set up by Elmohamady. Robert Koren completed the rout. Elmohamady was substituted by Paul McShane only two minutes before the end, with Birmingham scoring their goals in the final seven minutes. Once again Ahmed Fathi failed to make the match squad as Hull regained second place behind leaders Cardiff, meriting on a draw for rivals Watford at Wolves. Elsewhere, Adam El-Abd helped Brighton beat lowly Huddersfield 4-1 to move into the top six.
