Egypt striker Geddo made his Hull City debut as the Tigers suffered a 1-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion in the Championship. While Ahmed Fathi did not make the match squad, Geddo came on as a 71st minute substitute, 12 minutes before the only goal of the game. Brighton, where plays Egypt center-half Adam El-Abd, were lifted by a freekick from Spain international Vicente. The defeat left Hull in fourth place, level on 53 points with Watford and Leicester City as Brighton move to seventh. Both teams keep their promotion hopes alive though with 16 weeks remaining.
