Ahli have turned down a trial offer from Hull City for Egypt defender Rami Rabiea, football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz said. The Egyptian-owned Hull made an invitation for Rabiea to spend a few days in training with the team before a possible winter move. But the African champions categorically rejected the notion of sending a first-team player on trial. "The offer from Hull for Rabiea has been turned down," Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. "We are totally against the idea of sending a player to a club who are not decided whether to sign him or not." Rabiea, 20, is regarded as one of Egypt's hottest future prospects, having already claimed his stake in the Pharaohs first team. Hull have two Egyptians on their roster, including on-loan Ahli striker Geddo.
