Striker Mohamed Fadl and central midfielder Moataz Eno have been omitted from Ahli's African Champions league roster alongside youngsters Rami Rabiea and Ahmed Al-Esh. Fadl has been linked with Smouha while Eno is believed to be on Masri's radar as football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz admitted that the duo's uncertain future is a reason behind their exclusion. Keeper Mahmoud Aboul-Saoud, who joined in last season, was ruled out and replaced by youngster Moemen Gaber as the Cairo giants are set to loan him out in the winter break. Young center-half Rabiea was also dropped after being ruled out for six months with a serious back injury. Egypt U-23 midfielder Shehab Ahmed, who reiterated his intention of parting company with his club amid lack of first-team football, made the 23-man list. "Shehab is a key player in our squad, we have no intention of selling him," football director Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. "Ahmed Al-Sayed has been included also in the list, but that doesn't mean we will offer him a deal extension. "He's a good player but it's too early to talk about renewing his contract.” Defender Al-Sayed, 31, was tipped to leave Ahli but the injury problems of defenders Mohamed Naguib and Sherif Abdul-Fadil could prompt the club to keep hold of him. Railways striker Meanwhile, the reigning league champions have announced the signing of Railways forward Ahmed Farag on a six-month loan deal. "We signed Farag on loan with a view to sign him permanently afterwards," Abdul-Hafiz said. The 23-year-old is renowned of his pace and individual skills as he could operate as an attacking midfielder and a striker.
