Ahli youngster Rami Rabiea has been handed a new five-year contract with the club, football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz has confirmed. “Rabiea is now a regular so he has to be treated like an important first-team player for Ahli,” Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. Rabiea, 18, was introduced to the first team by former Ahli coach Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Shafi ‘Zizo', who handed the defender his debut in a 2-1 victory over Harras Hodoud back in December. He signed a professional contract one day before the Hodoud match, after which he became a regular for Zizo's predecessor Manuel Jose at the heart of the Reds' defense. The versatile teenager has been included in Egypt's squad for next month's CAN 2012 qualifier against Niger.
