Egypt are considering offers from three nations to play warm-up games next month, in preparation for the World Cup qualifying playoff against Ghana, the FA said. Egypt, who flied to Kumasi for the first leg of the decisive tie, will host Ghana on November 19 for a place in the World Cup finals. After Jordan, who also vie for a World Cup place, had proposed meeting Egypt by the start of November, Nigeria and Tanzania have also contacted the Pharaohs. The FA website said that two games could take place in Jordan on November 2 and 5, including one against the Hossam-Hassan-managed side. The second meeting could be against Tanzania on 7/8/9 November in Cairo. It remains to be seen whether Egypt will host the Ghana return leg, with authorities yet to officially confirm it is secure to play in the capital city.
