African champions Nigeria eased to a 2-0 victory over Malawi to win Group F, thanks to goals from Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses. In Group A, Ethiopia ensured their superiority over South Africa with a hard-fought 2-1 win in Central African Republic, with former Wadi Degla striker Saladin Saied on target. Burkina Faso also made the cut by winning their group with a 1-0 victory over Gabon, with Prejuce Nakoulma scoring the only goal. Nigeria, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso join Egypt, Algeria, Ivory Coast and Ghana in the final stage, with four more nations expected to join this weekend.
