Nigeria have been crowned African champions for the third time after beating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final. A first-half goal from Sunday Mba handed the Super Eagles a deserved triumph in Johannesburg. The victory meant that Nigeria boss Stephen Keshi became only the second man to win the title as a player and coach for his nation. The record solely belonged to Egypt's Mahmoud Al-Gohari, who guided the Pharaohs to two of their seven titles in 1959 as a player and 1998 as a manager. Burkina Faso midfielder Jonathan Pitroipa was named Player of the Tournament, whereas Emmanuel Emenike (Nigeria) and Wakaso Mubarak (Ghana) finished as joint top-scorers. Nigeria 1-0 Burkina Faso
