Burkina Faso have booked their place in the Africa Cup of Nations final for the first time after beating Ghana on penalties to clash with Nigeria for the title. Outsiders Burkina Faso salvaged a 1-1 draw with the Black Stars as Aristide Bance cancelled out a Mubarak Wakaso penalty. The Ghanaians failed to score three penalties, with Isaac Vorsah and Emmanuel Clottey missing the target, whereas Emmanuel Badu was denied by goalkeeper Daouda Diakité in the decisive spot kick. Burkina Faso - managed by Belgian Paul Put - will meet two-time champions Nigeria in the final after the Super Eagles thrashed Mali 4-1. Goals from Uwa Elderson, Brown Ideye, Emmanuel Emenike and Ahmed Musa did the job for Stephen Keshi's men, while Cheick Diarra scored a consolation for Mali. Should Nigeria lift the title next week, Keshi will make history as the second man to win it as a player and coach after Egypt's Mahmoud Al-Gohari. Mali and Ghana will vie for the third place for the second year running. Nigeria 4-1 Mali Ghana 1-1 Burkina Faso
