Cameroonian midfielder Alexis Mendomo has joined Saudi Arabia's Al-Raed after terminating his contract with Zamalek. The 26-year-old moved on a free transfer after getting the green light from FIFA to rescind his deal with his former club, who failed to pay his wages for months. Mendomo was under a three-year deal at Zamalek, having joined the Whites from Tunisia's Club Africain last summer. He is the second midfielder that Zamalek lose this summer after Egypt international Ibrahim Salah had also left to join Saudi Arabia's Al-Orouba on a free transfer as well. But unlike Mendomo, Salah had run out of contract as Zamalek failed to offer him a new deal.
