A group of Ahli fans appeared in Saturday's league game against Gouna despite the crowd ban, but was forced to leave after a warning from the Egyptian FA. As defending champions Ahli resume the league versus Gouna, Ultras Ahlawy insisted on attending the match against the ruling of playing behind closed doors. The contingent was allowed to enter by security – who did not want to confront them – as tens of supporters remained in the stands for the opening ten minutes of the game. The 10 witnessed an early goal for visitors Gouna, shortly before fans were informed that Ahli will be declared losers if they stayed on for over 10 minutes. The ultras eventually left as Ahli came back to end the first half 3-1.
