Mohamed Al-Nenni has signed a four-year contract with Basel to join the Swiss side on a permanent basis from Arab Contractors, the club said on their website. As his six-month loan nears an end, Basel have taken the option of signing the 20-year-old permanently from the Egyptian league strugglers. Al-Nenni played 18 games for Basel so far this season as he gradually became a key member of Murat Yakin's side to earn a long-term stay. The former Ahli youngster is also an established member of Egypt's midfield, having featured more than any other player under the management of Bob Bradley.
