Bani Yas coach Jozef Chovanec revealed that the return of forward Mohamed Zidan from injury has been delayed due to a fresh injury. Zidan has been struggling with a knee problem for over a month now and was supposed to be back in action with the resumption of the Emirate league this month. However, the Egypt forward was sidelined once again as Bani Yas defeated Ittihad Kalbaa 2-1 on Saturday. “Zidan was forced to pull out of the Ittihad game after feeling some pain," Czech manager Chovanec told a press conference. He will have a scan and hopefully he will be back soon for us." Bani Yas, currently third in the Emirate league table, play Bahrain's Busaiteen in the regional Gulf Cup for Clubs this week.
