The Egyptian Police will not secure Ahli's Champions League game against Ethiopian Coffee on April 8, the Egyptian champions said.

Ahli said they received a notification from the Cairo Police Headquarters rejecting to hold the last 32 return leg in Cairo due to ‘lack of security terms and conditions set by the police administration'.
Authorities stand firm in holding competitive matches in Egypt since the Port-Said disaster that claimed the lives of more than 77 supporters after Ahli's league game at Masri.
Only two competitive games took place since the calamitous incident on February 1, with Ahli's Cairo rivals Zamalek hosting Young Africans and Africa Sports behind closed doors.
Ahli said last month that they are not willing to play Champions League home matches without their fans, but they are now likely to reconsider the issue.
