CAIRO - Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government Kamal el-Ganzouri met with the Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, Mohamed Mursi, and its Deputy Chairman, Mohamed Saad el-Katatni. This was the first such encounter between the Government and the Brotherhood's party in the wake of parliamentary elections that have given the Muslim Brotherhood a majority of seats in the first post-Mubarak Parliament. El-Katatni said after their meeting that he and Mursi discussed with the Prime Minister the Government's legislative priorities for the new parliamentary session, which will start on January 23. "Our party has a list of laws that aims to serve the best interests of the poor of the nation at the end of the day," el-Katatni told reporters.
