CAIRO - Uunder tight secrecy, British supermodel Naomi Campbell and 11 of her friends including US actor Leonardo DiCaprio ended a four-day Nile cruise landing in the Upper Egyptian town of Aswan from Luxor, an Egyptian newspaper reported Thursday. All staff on the Zeina, a cruise ship carrying Campbell and her friends, were stripped of their mobile phones and other means of communications. Nor could they take any photos or tell any of the media where they were, al-Messa reported. It added that Campbell and her US friends had rejected being escorted by policemen during their tours in Luxor and Aswan. Campbell has previously announced that the 3,400-year-old Luxor Temple would be the site of her wedding ceremony, scheduled for December 7. She will wed 47-year-old Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronen in a lavish ceremony attended by Hollywood stars, public figures and celebrities. The couple will spend their honeymoon at the Winter Palace Hotel overlooking the Nile, south of Luxor Temple. French President Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni made their first public appearance at the hotel. The khedival hotel was built in 1886 and has seven suites that overlook the Nile.
