CAIRO - Chairman of EgyptAir Ground Services Abdel Hamid Eid has recently honoured 31 employees, marking their promotion as senior specialists, as well as honouring 95 students during a special iftar (meal to break the fast in the holy month of Ramadan) held at Aerosports Club in Cairo. Board Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Hussein Masoud said in a speech marking the occasion that the capital of the Ground services company had increased to 450 per cent, which is an important achievement in the history of the company. Eid, meanwhile, stressed the importance of its employee's efforts towards achieving the company's goals, which had contributed greatly to raising Egypt's name high.
New projects for ETC
AS part of the international marketing for the EgyptAir Training Centre (ETC) activities led by director Al-Mo'tasem Bellah Ahmed, the centre has already signed several contracts for training pilots. The ETC will take over the training of pilots for a Jordanian airline, Nesma Air, and the Saudi airline Al-Wafeed, on its Simulator engines. The centre has also contracted with the South Africa Training Centre, Nile Air Company, as well as Sudanese airlines and the Libyan airline Al-Boraq, in addition to organising training courses for Syrian airlines engineers.
