1 killed, 2 injured in Cairo house collapse

CAIRO-One local man died and two others injured when their house in Cairo collapsed early Saturday, police sources said.
Preliminary investigations showed that the three-floor house was rickety and collapsed in the Islamic Cairo district of el-Darb el-Ahmr to kill the 65-year-old man.
Building houses in Egypt are often due to a lack of maintenance, the unlicensed addition of floors and the use of construction materials.
