Armed Forces: 52 takfiris killed, 7 hideouts destroyed in Operation Sinai 2018

CAIRO, Oct 8, 2018 (MENA) - The General Command of the Armed Forces on Monday announced that 52 takfiris were killed and seven terrorist hideouts destroyed in North Sinai as part of the "Comprehensive Operation Sinai 2018" that was launched in February to fight terrorism in North and Central Sinai and other areas in the Nile Delta and the desert areas west of the Nile Valley.
In its 28th statement released early Monday, the General Command of the Armed Forces said the swoops that have been conducted over the past period achieved great success. In the statement the General Command vowed to press along with efforts exerted to eradicate terrorism and uproot it on all strategic fronts of the state.
