CAIRO, Sept 23, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian Petroleum Ministry is working to improve the efficiency of oil production units and implement new ones with the aim to meet demands of the local market and reduce imports, said Tareq el Molla Sunday. The petroleum minister also said that the Ministry is acting to maximize the value added and support the Egyptian economy. He was speaking in a meeting of the general assembly of the Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemicals Company (ANRPC) to endorse achievements of the fiscal year 2017-2018. Work is underway to implement a number of projects meant to increase gasoline and butane production, the minister said in a statement.
