CAIRO, Sept 17, 2018 (MENA) - Prime Minister and Minster of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Moustafa Madbouli on Monday gave his orders to promptly set up the development plan for Maspero Triangle area, especially after settling occupants' disputes and completing the removal process. This came during the premier's meeting with Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and several other ministers. The Maspero Triangle Development project is among the government's top urban development priorities in Cairo at the present stage, Madbouli said. To settle occupants' claims, the ministry is following a direct sale-purchase with smallholders seeking financial compensation from the ministry's New Urban Communities Authority, said Deputy Housing Minister Assem El-Gazzar during the meeting. Gazzar also said that 21 acres have been cleared of rubble and the ministry is taking immediate steps to have the development plan set up as soon as possible.
