CAIRO, July 9, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Prime Minister and Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended on Monday the signing ceremony of two cooperation protocols between Cairo governorate and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). The first deal aims at upgrading the unsafe area of El Mawardi in Cairo's El-Sayeda Zainab district that stretches over an area of 3.35 feddans, Deputy Housing Minister Essam el-Gazzar said in a statement. While the second agreement is related to transferring the ownership of a 5.5-feddan area in Maspero Triangle area to the NUCA to build housing units for occupants who want to stay in this area after its development, he added. The protocols were signed by Cairo Governor Atef Abdel Hamid and Deputy Chairman of the NUCA Mazen Hassan, in presence of Essam el Gazzar and other housing officials.
