RAMALLAH, Sept 14, 2018 (MENA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended on Friday the European Parliament's stance in rejection of the Israeli decision to demolish al Khan al Ahmar village in east of Al Quds. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki said in statements broadcast by WAFA news agency that the European Parliament's warning against the repercussions of the Israeli decision is an additional international step to condemn what Israel is going to do. The European Parliament also warned against the forced eviction of al Khan al Ahmr village residents, stressing that it violates the Fourth Geneva Convention. Last week, the Israeli High Court of Justice rejected appeals by al Khan al Ahmar residents and approved the eviction and demolition of the village.
